HARDCORE SCREEBOARDING RACE
1997
You will be astonished what you gonna see. It`s incredible.....must be cooool....
it`s a new trend sport! After you have explored all the pages,
you will have the same opinion like me.
Don`t you believe me ?!?.... let`s go !!
THEY ARRIVED
At 1 pm I think, more or less all competitors and friends had found the way to the
Gasterntal in Kandersteg.The training started. The slope was very steep.
So we had to built a flat at the starting area.
SOME
COMPETITORS
Yes, of course, some people had a lot of problems. For exemple Kroepfli Urs.
But we had also a lot of better competitors.
Kestenholz Ueli had already less problems in the training. It was also the
first time, that two women started
(Klossner Stephanie and Muerner Nicole) Congratulations to them.
THE RACE
At 3pm, the race started. Kroepfli Urs would show the girls, that he is really
hardcore! But bad luck for him. The girls didn`t watch him!!
Kestenholz Ueli had a perfect run but he didn`t win!! We had three runs from
which we took the two best runs. My brother Andreas Muerner won the race.
I had a good run and I won the bronze medal. The most competitors tryed
this sport for the first time and so, it was really difficult for them.
MOUNTAINBOARD
Later we had a hardcore session with the mountianboard. But I think, a
housewife is not made for mountainboarding!!
The owner of the board could it better!!
THE PARTY
The medalists were quiet happy and the party began!!
A lot
of people left before the party really started. But the people which
stayed till late had a lot of fun! At 12pm we cleaned up and
drove to the pup in Kandersteg !
